With its central location, free parking and fully licensed bar, the Riverside Centre offers a choice of great value rooms to hire for your next social gathering.

Our main venue hall is equipped with a stage and sound system, and is served by a fully licensed bar serving draught and bottled beers, ciders, spirits, snacks and soft drinks.

The Riverside is an ideal venue for:

Measuring over 170 m² the Trafalgar room also has the option of being extended by folding partition doors on two sides, to increase the overall capacity to 360 people standing or 200 people seated, or to provide greater space for any additional entertainment or catering you may require. Our own in-house catering can also provide hot and cold buffets and party food for any budget; from something simple and filling, to grazing tables and self-serve banquets.

Building Layout

We can offer a choice of table arrangements to suit your needs, from a traditional formal wedding style with a top table, to a more relaxed informal banquet style, and still with plenty of space for dancing.

Table cloths and chair covers can also be hired, or you are welcome to dress the room however you see fit (although we do ask you to be mindful of our fixtures and fittings).
