Terms and Conditions for Displaying Artwork

Acceptance of Terms
By agreeing to display your artwork on the premises of The Riverside Centre (“the Business”), you (“the Artist”) acknowledge and accept these terms and conditions.

Ownership of Artwork
The Artist retains full ownership of their artwork and all associated intellectual property rights unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Liability Disclaimer
a. The Riverside Centre is not responsible for any loss, theft, damage, or destruction of the artwork while it is displayed on the premises, regardless of the cause.
b. The Artist is encouraged to obtain adequate insurance coverage for their artwork to cover such risks.

Installation and Display
a. The Artist is responsible for delivering and installing the artwork safely and securely at the location designated for Community Canvas @ The Riverside Centre.
b. The Riverside Centre reserves the right to approve the placement, manner of display, and duration of the exhibition of the artwork.
c. The Artist agrees to ensure that the artwork does not pose any health or safety risks to The Riverside Centre, its employees, or visitors.

Duration of Display
a. The duration of the display will be agreed upon in writing prior to the installation of the artwork.
b. The Riverside Centre reserves the right to request the removal of the artwork at any time, with reasonable notice provided to the Artist.

Removal of Artwork
a. The Artist is responsible for removing the artwork promptly at the end of the agreed display period or upon request by The Riverside Centre.
b. The Riverside Centre is not liable for any damage or loss incurred during the removal process.

Indemnity
The Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Riverside Centre from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the display of the artwork, including but not limited to injury caused by the artwork or disputes over ownership.

Promotion and Publicity
a. The Riverside Centre may use images of the artwork for promotional purposes related to the display, with credit given to the Artist.
b. The Artist agrees to grant The Riverside Centre a non-exclusive license to use such images for the duration of the display.

Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
